St Mary's Church, Hadleigh, Suffolk
St Mary's is the principal church of the Hadleigh benefice, which also includes the parish churches of St Andrew's, Layham and All Saints', Shelley.
All three churches are members of Churches-Together in Hadleigh.
The benefice functions as an all-inclusive team and so the main part of our website is accessed through the "Benefice" link on the left. The site is in its early stages of development, but we are expanding it gradually, so please keep coming back.
St Mary's is a large church dating back to Mediaeval times and, as with most of our heritage churches, is expensive to keep in good repair. The Friends of St Mary's Church raise substantial funds each year in various ways, including organised events and concerts. See their link on the left.
There is a virtual tour of St Mary's Church and the churchyard, including views of the historic Guildhall and Deanery Tower; you can view this from the "St Mary's Tour" link on the left.
Please see our "Porch Project" page. The Project provides somewhere for young folk to meet and something for them to do in the evenings.
There are several groups that meet in or near Hadleigh church, but as these are open to the benefice as a whole, their pages can be found in the Benefice web pages.
