The story of Stephen A Musical by Roger Jones Following the success of Apostle and Saints Alive over the last two years we are looking for singers and actors
for a production of Wildfire which is being held at Hadleigh United Reformed Church on Saturday 13th October 2012. 3-5pm Saturday 26th May, in Hadleigh URC when we will have a full run through and distribute the music books and rehearsal CDs. If you cannot be there, please get in touch. There will be further music rehearsals in church before a summer break: June: You should try to get to at least 5 of these. There may be opportunity for others, if needed. Rehearsals will continue after the summer up to the performance on the 13th of October. Rehearsals for actors will be arranged separately. A Jubilee Concert! Hadleigh Choral Societyoffer an evening of music suitable for a Royal Diamond Jubilee The concert will be followed by strawberries and champagne (or fruit punch, if preferred) in the Church garden or Ansell Centre, if inclement. Tickets £10 available from The Idler, Hadleigh Thrift Shop or Members of Hadleigh URC or Hadleigh Choral Society. All profits will go towards the refurbishment of the Ansell Centre kitchen and toilets. |

BENEFICE QUIET DAY The Revd Brother Philip Bartholomew from the Society of St. Francis has agreed to come and lead this day. There is plenty of car park space; easy access for those whose mobility is not good; space to sit and enjoy the scenery; and lanes to walk. There will be some costs, but this will not be an expensive day out; more information will be provided nearer the date. We suggest you bring a picnic lunch, tea and coffee will be provided. It would be good to know the names of those coming, so we bring enough milk etc., so please give your name to Joyce Willis or Jackie Sears. |
